Making sure our staff are learning and growing their skills is part of Community Vision’s commitment to providing the best possible support we can for our customers.
We revisited and revamped our training program as part of our ongoing effort to ensure we offer the most up-to-date evidence based support.
With the support of EdApp, we have further focused and enhanced our training on the key learning outcomes, improving the focus of the people and families we work with. This has made the onboarding process for new staff interesting and dynamic, revolutionising how we train our team. Each team member works through a series of short modules on topics such as Agism or Dignity of Risk. At our core, Community Vision is here to create a stronger, more inclusive and connected community – and ensuring our staff are trained to provide compassionate and excellent support is one of the key ways we do so.
